It has been a crazy few months what with workshops and open days and the launch of the online shop. But it has got me thinking about why we load ourselves with so much to do.

I must admit I am feeling somewhat snowed under by everything I have to do at the moment so time management is becoming crucial. However I can't help thinking that perhaps time management wouldn't be needed if I simply didn't add more on to my plate than I need to?

So despite having an appointment listed on my electronic calendar AND my diary, I actually forgot about it and then had to rush to get there and save face. CAN YOU BELIEVE it? How does that happen?

I guess I just wanted to come clean and let you all know that even the Neat Freak is not perfect. In fact, you can have so many systems in place but if you have a memory like a sieve, you have to be doubly careful to NOT FORGET APPOINTMENTS!

You know that sinking feeling you get when you suddenly realise that the sun has risen and the birds are tweeting louder than normal and you're meant to be up? WELL, I had that feeling x2 this week-end when I realised that the Easter bunny hadn't deposited his eggs because he hadn't set the alarm and therefore overslept!

Needless to say, I instructed the kids to 'be gone' which they clearly understood as 'go away so I can hide your chocolates' and they very soon called me on it!
