It was a busy week-end for Neat Freak as I was a speaker at the Ready Set Go workshop (at the Durban Country Club) and then, got the opportunity to be filmed and interviewed for Lisa Raleigh's new show, Keep it Real!

After a bit of a rush (both time-wise and excitement-wise), I had to get back home after the presentation and begin de-cluttering a room for the show - but it all worked out. Thanks to my hubby for being such a great help and the kids were so excited to the see the process.

WOW - what a busy July it was for Neat Freak.

The H&G show now has a section called the HOMEGROWN Fair, which showcases local design and homegrown brands. Neat Freak was lucky enough to exhibit in this section and whilst it was a hectic schedule to keep, it was invaluable experience.

A big thanks to Terry Angelos of Wart & Fish Trading, for running a well organised and lovely show.

I was recently nominated for a Regional Business Achiever's Award in the Emerging Entrepreneur category. This is an annual award that is run by the Business Women's Association. After being shortlisted and interviewed, as the owner of Neat Freak, I made it into the finals.

The awards were held on 28th July and whilst i didn't walk away with the prize, I was thrilled to have made it that far! Who knows, perhaps if I get nominated again, I can clinch it.
